MEMBERSHIP POLICY

Any ex-student of St. Kabir Institute of Professional Studies, shall adhere to the following membership policy:

  1. Any student who has studied at SKIPS can be a member of the Association.
  2. Students interested in joining the association will have to furnish all the relevant particulars, with reference to the membership applications.
  3. Members wishing to leave the Association can do so by submitting a written notification to the association.
  4. The membership is personal: the Alumni Association benefits are for the member’s own use.
  5. Life Time Membership :
    • Any ex student of St. Kabir Institute of Professional Studies, on payment of Rs.1000/- and whose age is above 18 (eighteen) years as on the date of his/her Application for Membership of the Association shall be life member of the Association.

BENEFITS TO ALUMNI

The alumni members will be able to avail the following services offered from time to time:

Research Benefits

The institute will give unlimited access to institute’s library free of charge. Borrowing privileges are also included. In partnership with the Library, the Alumni Association provides alumni the access to Learning Resource Centre (LRC) containing thousands of publications on-campus.

Updated Information

The institute will update and keep informing all alumni from time to time about the latest happenings and upcoming events using the system of email forwarding and messaging.

Alumni ID Card

Every member of the association will be provided with an ID card which will functions as a tangible proof of member’s alumni status.

Placement Assistance

The members will be updated about the job openings and other opportunities to help them in their career path.

Event Invites

Members of the association will be invited to SKIPS campus to attend social, cultural and networking events, seminars and guest lectures. It will be always ensured that the alumni are always informed of and invited to upcoming convocations and other special events.

Lecture /Mentoring Invites

Members of the association can be invited to deliver guest sessions, lectures and workshops on the recommendation of the Board of the Alumni Association. They will be invited to guide and mentor current students in their projects and industry assignments.

Sports Facilities

The members will be able to use the sports equipment and SKIPS grounds for recreational activities.

Alumni E-Newsletter

To stay abreast of the happenings at the institute, they once called home, the members will have access to the periodic/annual e-newsletter.
