On September 24th, the Ahmedabad Times organised the Oppo Fresh Face 2016 Contest at the campus of St.Kabir Institute of Professional Studies – best management colleges in ahmedabad. The auditorium was brimming with energy as several students showcased their talents, which included singing, dancing, and playing musical instruments. The ramp walk was the highlight of the show, and the audience cheered for the participants throughout. The judges were the actors from the upcoming Gujarati movie Fodi Laishu Yaar and Mr. Sagar Kargutkar, the Marketing Head at Bombay Times. Performances of songs such as Locha-e-ulfat and Kaala Chashma, among others, received the most applause from both the audience and the judges. The judges were impressed by the performances of the students, and they appreciated the efforts of the students while interacting with them in the question and answer round. Aditya, who was shortlisted for the semi-finals, had the entire top management colleges in ahmedabad cheering for him as he played the song Duma dum mast kalander on the guitar. Dhrumi, Ruchi, and Mansi, among girls, were shortlisted. These students will be participating in the semi-finals in which they will compete against 50 other colleges. It was a fun-filled afternoon, which witnessed some memorable performances.
