On 24 August, St. Kabir Institute of Professional Studies – pgdm college in ahmedabad hosted a guest lecture by the Regional Head of HFFC (Home First Finance Credit), which is a firm dedicated towards providing home loans to the masses in India. The lecture was a part Industry Interaction Forum (IIF). Besides illustrating the concept of financial inclusion in his talk, he also highlighted why the major banks are not keen on providing loans to a certain class of people in India, the bifurcation of financial market in India and how acquiring a house has become synonymous with prestige in today’s world. Mr.Amod also elucidated the career prospects in this field and shared his vision with the pgdm colleges in ahmedabad students. The students asked various questions pertaining to his talk and thoroughly enjoyed the interaction.
