One of the most important examinations, Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardised test, administered 4 times a year (February, May, September, and December) to facilitate students to secure their admission in one of the more than 600 B-schools across nation. Conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA), it helps Business Schools (B-Schools) to screen candidates for admission to management programmes like MBA or PGDM. AICTE Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD gave its approval to consider MAT as a national level test in the year 2003. Any B-School can consider MAT Score as an admission input based on the Score Cards issued to the candidates.

MAT exam paper consists of 5 sections – Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis, Reasoning, and Indian & Global Environment, with each section comprising of 40 questions. Every one of these 200 questions will carry one mark, while every wrong answer will get ¼ marks deducted from your total score.

Candidate can choose to give either Paper-based or computer-based test.
