The first in the series of lectures organised by the Indian Institute of Materials Management(IIMM), and hosted by St. Kabir Institute of Professional Studies, SKIPS-top management colleges in ahmedabad<\/strong><\/a>, took place on the evening of Saturday, January 18th, 2014 at the SKIPS campus. The event was attended by more than 80 delegates from both organizations. Dr. R K Balyan, Director SKIPS, welcomed Mr. H K Gupta, Chairman IIMM Ahmedabad, with a bouquet, while an equally warm welcome was extended to the guest speaker, Mr. NK Jain, by Dr. Gurpreet Arora, Dean SKIPS.<\/p>\n

Dr. Balyan kicked-off the event with a brief address to the audience. Mr. HK Gupta and Mr. DK Goswamy, Conveners of the IIMM Ahmedabad branch, were honoured for their great contribution to IIMM. Later, the guest speaker, Mr. NK Jain, conducted a free flowing and highly interactive session on the very interesting topic of personal wealth management and enlightened the audience about various options like FDs, FMPs, Gold ETFs, Term Plans, Endowment Plans, and ULIPS.<\/p>\n

The discussion was made very lively by the keen audience as they asked questions and shared their own experiences and insights. The talk was immensely beneficial to one and all, viz., the IIMM delegates, the academic and office staff of SKIPS–best management colleges in ahmedabad<\/a>,<\/strong> and the pgdm student community, as they are at the right stage of their lives for investment into a brighter future.
