THE BACKGROUND TO THE LISTING OF STARTUPS<\/strong><\/p>\n

The speaker initiated the talk by raising the concern that Indian companies were going abroad to get them listed on foreign stock exchanges such as NASDAQ. To stop this, SEBI on June 23rd, 2015 came up with the guidelines for startups.<\/p>\n

With respect to startups, the speaker presented the information and aligned it to the Entrepreneurship Era, which was classified into four periods starting from (1) British Era till Independence, (2) Year 1947 to 1991, (3) Year 1991 to 2014, and (4) Year 2014 onwards.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, the speaker presented insights about the different phases in the life cycle of the company, followed by the journey from startup to listed company. He also explained the different stages in the life of the startup and the traits of the entrepreneur that are required for the startup. Porsche clone watches<\/p>\n

LISTING OF THE STARTUPS<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The speaker made the audience aware of the listing guidelines given in the FM budget speech in the year 2013. He stressed upon the two platforms available for listing, viz., the existing platform and the institutional trading platform. He opined that the listing process was cumbersome and the guidelines were too stringent for budding entrepreneurs who wanted their business domain or company to be recognised by the stock exchange. gmt master 2 replica<\/p>\n

The new guidelines given by SEBI on June 23rd, 2015 with respect to grown up startups were explained by the speaker. He also said that the new listing norms had a very small number of clauses and conditions to be observed for getting the company listed even without raising money through an initial public offering.<\/p>\n

The presentation was followed by the Question and Answer Session and lastly, Mr. Ashish Goyal from NSE shared the information on how to get your company listed on the NSE platform within the period of 30 days after adhering to all the compliances of SEBI and Company Law with regards to Listing Requirements.<\/p>\n
