On the 9th of October 2015, the mba students of Sant Kabir Institute of Professional Studies (SKIPS) had the privilege of having an interactive session with Mr. Saurabh Agrawal, Chairman of Red Events Pvt. Ltd. on the topic Entrepreneurship and Challenges. The session gathered real momentum with the speech of our guest speaker, which commenced with the narration of his journey to make # RedEvents Pvt. Ltd a highly successful event management company. The captivating way of narrating his journey created excitement and enthusiasm among the top mba colleges in ahmedabad students. Earlier in his career, he saw an opportunity in affluent Indian weddings and quickly turned his vision into reality by launching Shaadi info.com, Gujarat’s first organised wedding management firm. He relaunched # Shaadiinfo as # Red Events in 2006, and it is now synonymous with a one-stop solution for all event needs.
He emphasised that irrespective of the ethical dimension, it is the passion and focus on your work that makes you successful. He mentioned the aspirations and requirements of different clients are totally different, and so should be the managing strategies. He responded to the queries of mba students about his experience with the different kinds of clients and the emerging trends in this industry. His patient way of answering the queries of mba students made the interaction motivational for the MBA Colleges ahmedabad students. On a practical note, he emphasised that one has to be very patient and one should be willing to show promptness in dealing with clients. He recognised that a good team comprised of good people who believe in the vision of their leader is what makes a company successful. He advised mba students to get on the field to get first-hand experience of the problems, difficulties, and opportunities in a particular industry.
