SKIPS has evolved innovative methods in imparting management education for enhancing knowledge and value in sync with emerging trends in employer-organizations.

The Institute believes in holistic education and aims at developing students into multi-faceted personalities. Course content and curriculum cover a wide range of interventions comprising case studies, class sessions, guest lectures, workshops, seminars, presentations, industry orientation visits, etc. which supplement and complement deliverables.

Lecture Sessions are highly interactive. They give quality inputs comparable to 'elite' b-schools across the country. Educational aids include LCD projectors and other modern facilities.

Case Studies, an essential component of the structure of individual courses, aim at developing analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities as well as presentation skills essential for managerial effectiveness.

Industry-Interface is ensured through innovative interventions including regular lectures by industry leaders/experts in different fields in order to enable them gain insights into contemporary business and industrial practices.

Project Assignments form an integral part of the curriculum. Suitable industry-specific projects are identified for students as an extension and reinforcement of classroom learning at the Institute under direction, supervision and guidance from specially assigned faculty.

Management Research is an essential requirement at the Institute under which students develop analytical skills. Select research findings are published in leading journals and periodicals.

Role Play and Simulation Exercises give students opportunities to try out management fundamentals and concepts in actual business situations. Computer-aided business simulation games stimulate the learning process and instill a high degree of confidence.

Industry Orientation Visits to gain hands-on experience in understanding and application of management principles and practice are organized periodically. These serve as a huge opportunity for acclimatizing students with the world of industry and business.

Seminars/Workshops/Conferences organized by the Institute are highly focused, dedicated and intensive in nature with substantial involvement from management practice which serve as crucial forums for advanced learning in management and leadership.
