CMAT Common Management Admission Test is an online computer based test conducted bi-annually in the months February and September by AICTE. The CMAT/CAT/XAT/GMAT/MAT score forms one of the eligibility criterion for entrance in most of the B-Schools, followed by a candidateâ€™s performance in GD-PI of the respective B-school. CMAT is a three hour test which comprises of four sections
- Quantitative technique
- Logical reasoning
- Language comprehension
- General Awareness
Each section has 25 questions, for every right question there are 4 marks and 1 mark is deducted for each wrong answer. The Graduates with 50% or equivalent are eligible for this test. Final year students can also appear for CMAT subject to their clearing the eligibility criteria. Students can register for the exam by filling theÂ Application Form for CMAT, available on the AICTE official website. According to theÂ CMAT eligibility criteria, a student can take CMAT twice a year and the best of his scores will be accepted by the participating B-schools for the application procedure.
